Stick Control for the Drum Set – Volume 1

Stick Control for the Drum set was written by Mitchell Peters. It is a technique book directed toward elementary readers for developing basic control and utilization on a set of drums. The book uses mainly triplet patterns around the drum set to help the drummer/student gain flexibility and a larger vocabulary for improvising or doing fill-ins. It also challenged the drummer to perform different sticking variations throughout the book.
