The Flam Drag Drum Rudiment is considered a Hybrid drum rudiment. It is not one of the original 40 Standard drum rudiments. However, it is important to realize that this is extremely fun to play and easy to play. Also, once you develop this rudiment well on the snare drum, begin playing it around the set.
